About
I was born in Dublin, Ireland but my family emigrated to Luxembourg when I was seven years old. I had always loved reading, however finding English books was a challenge. The shortage fueled an passion for literature that has never left me.
I returned to Dublin at eighteen to read English Literature and Linguistics at University College Dublin. A writing and editing career in London was followed by a year travelling around Australia to escape the rat race. While backpacking I wrote a Australian travel guide for career breakers for Bootsnall.com.
On my return to Ireland I worked as an Instructional Designer for three years, designing and writing online training courses. The experience honed my writing skills.
I retrained as a legal secretary in 2007 to give me more time to complete my first novel, a selection of ten short stories linked by theme and location.
